Description
Original Water Color by Amie Kieffer. The model was inspired by St. Joan of Arc and The Lord of the Rings. The idea of a warrior princess theme was inspired by both the book Captivating by Stasi Eldridge and a homily where the priest summed up the Sacrament of Confirmation as Christ saying "I will be the sheild at your side." The card measures 5"x7" and comes with an envelope. The cover says "Confirmation - I am the sheild at your side." The inside quotes St .Joan of Arc "I am not afraid, I was born for this." The back of the card includes a selection from the Catholic Catechism paragraph 1296 "It is God...who has put his seal on us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee. This seal of the Holy Spirit marks our total belonging to Christ, our enrollment in his service for ever. As well as the promise of divine protection in the great eschatological trial.”
