Description
by Kimberly Fries
Lectio Divina for Little Ones introduces children to Sacred Scripture through the traditional practice of Lectio Divina. The practice follows four steps: Reading, Meditating, Praying, and Contemplating Scripture. This book explains each step and includes questions for the child to focus on throughout the process that are appropriate for their age. Children learn how to listen to the Bible, think about what it feels like to be in the passage, talk to God about the passage, and quiet themselves in the presence of God.
We speak to God when we pray;
we listen to Him
when we read the Scriptures.
