Description
"Lord I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof but only say the words and my soul shall be healed" is the salutation of this First Communion card. The image is inspired by the allegory of "King of the Golden City" by Mother Mary Loyola. The tended garden that greets the visit of the King is an image of the soul that is prepared to receive Our Lord in Holy Communion. The back of the card tells the story of the centurion in Mt 8:8-9,13 who spoke those words to Jesus.
